FFFFFFUUU--

When I said I needed a new hobby, Lolita fashion was not what I had in mind oh god I can feel my bank account breaking already. ;-;

In other news, college stuff is still a bitch, still looking for a job, still working on the H/P/H drawing I meant to post last week, and still working on that 5+1 prompt that I kind of sort of filled on the KKBB kink meme.

but lolita fashion is awesome! I don't have the patience to dress in fancy costumery all the time, but I love to look at them. If I put on a glove or do more to my hair than just tie it back, it's a very adventurous day for me XD

Oh, it is! And I love looking at it, too. It's just (1) I'm also very blase about how I dress, and about fashion in general (seriously, a headband is "dressed up" for me, lol), so this sudden and strange "ZOMG MUST GET THIS SO-AND-SO" attitude is really... sudden and strange, and (2) It's really expensive and I am broke. ;-; There are offbrands that are a lot cheaper, but it's still too much for a starving college student whose part-time job is ending in a month (darn school kids and their summer vacation). Oh, well, we'll see how this goes...

See, that's me exactly, only with steampunk and neo-Victorian wear more than Lolita. XD I...would not look good in Lolita. But I rock a brocade vest, overcoat, and old-fashioned hat (provided I can afford them first)

I've tried getting into steampunk, too, but I had the same problem then as I do now. I totally think mixing steampunk and lolita would be amazing, especially if it was Classic or Aristocrat style. But honestly, I think that I just like anything related to the Victorian/Edwardian-era. :P I bet you'd look great in lolita, no matter what you say. Never know until you try.

oh, definitely steampunk-loli would be really awesome! ANd I agree, the Victorian/Edwardian era is one of my favorites... though really, anything earlier than the fifties will do for me. I also adore the Baroque period. :)

AND NO. NO I WOULD NOT. D8 frilly dresses are not a good look on me. AT ALL. EVER
