Wizard-Con...
May. 23rd, 2011 04:46 pmWas awesome! :D I'm so broke!! I bought:
-A Tombstone poster, with (allegedly) Val Kilmer's signature. I didn't really care if it's fake or not, TBH. I just wanted the poster. ^^;
-An Umbrella Corporation "parking permit" and "special forces" badge", 'cause I thought they were funny. Was going to get a GeneCo badge, but I figured two badges were enough.
-So I got a GeneCo pin, as well as a Doctor Who pin with the old-school diamond logo.
-A Star Wars t-shirt, for by nephew's birthday, which I was contemplating keeping for myself.
-An X-Men mini-series (I forgot which one, probably Astonishing X-Men), also for my nephew's birthday, also something I was contemplating keeping for myself.
-Seven Soldiers of Victory: Zatanna mini-series.
I had to stop then, seeing as how I was steadily wasting most of my paycheck on overpriced con merchandise, instead of something useful, like school books. Well, the mini-series were half off...
I also met James Marsters. Yaaay! He was really nice-- seemed kind of out of it, but really nice. I also saw Tom Felton, but I didn't get to meet him. :( Sadly, I forgot my camera both days, so no pictures. Booooo.
This was my second convention (the first was the New York Comic Con/Anime Fest at the Javits Center), and even though it was smaller, it was just as much fun. I'm definitely going to the next one -- and cosplaying, if I can. ;p
