When I said I needed a new hobby, Lolita fashion was not what I had in mind oh god I can feel my bank account breaking already. ;-;

In other news, college stuff is still a bitch, still looking for a job, still working on the H/P/H drawing I meant to post last week, and still working on that 5+1 prompt that I kind of sort of filled on the KKBB kink meme.

I could have sworn I saw this on the kink meme, but in any case...

Bobby Mills comes a-visiting. He and Harry fall for one another.

Also done for #53 on my 100 Themes List, Unseen.

Was awesome! :D I'm so broke!! I bought:

-A Tombstone poster, with (allegedly) Val Kilmer's signature. I didn't really care if it's fake or not, TBH. I just wanted the poster. ^^;

-An Umbrella Corporation "parking permit" and "special forces" badge", 'cause I thought they were funny. Was going to get a GeneCo badge, but I figured two badges were enough.

-So I got a GeneCo pin, as well as a Doctor Who pin with the old-school diamond logo.

-A Star Wars t-shirt, for by nephew's birthday, which I was contemplating keeping for myself.

-An X-Men mini-series (I forgot which one, probably Astonishing X-Men), also for my nephew's birthday, also something I was contemplating keeping for myself.

-Seven Soldiers of Victory: Zatanna mini-series.

I had to stop then, seeing as how I was steadily wasting most of my paycheck on overpriced con merchandise, instead of something useful, like school books. Well, the mini-series were half off...

I also met James Marsters. Yaaay! He was really nice-- seemed kind of out of it, but really nice. I also saw Tom Felton, but I didn't get to meet him. :( Sadly, I forgot my camera both days, so no pictures. Booooo.

This was my second convention (the first was the New York Comic Con/Anime Fest at the Javits Center), and even though it was smaller, it was just as much fun. I'm definitely going to the next one -- and cosplaying, if I can. ;p

So I wrote a ten page paper in an hour and a half this morning. (or should that be yesterday morning...?)

Moral of the story: I'm fucking awesome Don't procrastinate next time, especially since I had a fuck ton of time to write it in a timely and - less frantic - manner.

In other news, Pokemon are hard to draw, and finals start tomorrow... yippee.

Bear! )

It rained again today, which wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't going to be a few minutes late for my first class.

Which also wouldn't be so bad, except the universe apparently thinks I can afford to be more than a few minutes late, because the subway stops.

Which also also wouldn't be so bad, except it doesn't start up after one or two minutes. No, that train sits there.

For thirty fucking minutes.

Cue train workers trying to figure out WTF happened. (Something about something - or someone - setting off the emergency brake in one of the cars. I think. I'll be honest, at that point, I'm trying to figure out the best way to teleport off the subway and back into my bed.)

So much for getting to class.

Here, have a drawing:

Drawing! )

In other news, somebody pinned the most horrendous, horrifying fake butterflies to the living room curtains. I'm serious, those things will be haunting my dreams tonight. :|

So it pretty much rained all of last week. Boo.

But then it cleared up yesterday! Hooray!

Then it started to rain again. Boo.

Now it's supposed to rain all week. Double boo.

Well, it didn't rain today, but it was horribly humid and too hot (by my standards). But it certainly looked that way, and I'm not holding out for a reprise tomorrow.

I like rain - it's fun to splash around in, yaay - and anything above 65 is, in my opinion, way too hot. But seriously, all this rain is bumming me out. Stupid April. :(

So here's a drawing of Perry holding a puppy in the rain! Because that's totally something Perry would do.

Not Harry, btw. An actual puppy. )

In other news, I've been playing a lot of Pokemon recently. Currently level grinding in Pokemon White, trying to get my team up to speed for the Elite Four, and recently restarted FireRed, after realizing that the team I had throughout the duration of the game really, really, really sucked. And I was wondering why I never faced the Elite Four. Hopefully, this run will turn out better.

Why the eff am I mentioning this? No reason-- just expect some Pokemon related fanart coming soon. Maybe even some KKBB/Pokemon fanart? ;p Who knows.

“Good-bye, my Sarah Jane." -The Doctor

Elisabeth Sladen, better known as Sarah Jane Smith of Doctor Who fame and The Sarah Jane Adventures, died today.

She was only sixty-three. I'm at a loss. She was an amazing actress, and she seemed like an amazing human being. You will be missed, Ms. Sladen. :(

And only one more paper until a week and a half of no classes and no school work! Spring Break! Whoo-hoo!

So instead of actually working on said paper, here's some silly fluff, of the Perry/Harry variety! Procrastination! Whoo-hoo!

Boys kissing! )

Okay, back to work now... Yeah right.

Oh dear...

In other news, I have three papers due next week (NOOOOO), and a short that needs filming tomorrow morning (YAAAAAY), with no one to actually film (NOOOOO). I need more college friends...

And not just any update - an art update? Say it ain't so!

It is so! I feel like I should say it was something big and grandiose that got me doodling again. Nah, it was just an awesome little movie called Kiss Kiss Bang Bang that gave me the urge to put pen to paper again. Funny how that works.

I got to say, though, it feels weird. After months (and months and months and months...) of not picking up a pencil and paper for anything other than school work or a simple doodle (probably on the margins of said school work), to suddenly going back to sketching things for hours... it's surreal. But comforting. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I actually sat down and did it.

...I'm really, really out of practice though. Months of inactivity have done nothing to what little talent (or "talent") I had before hand.

General silliness and fluff behind the cut, all SFW:

Let's ignore the fact that nobody looks like they ought to, mmm'kay? )

That's all for now. Let's hope I can keep the momentum up! [fingers crossed]

So apparently, yellow lights don't mean "Slow down" anymore. Yellow lights mean, "Floor it at the last possible second, making sure to almost hit the little Chinese* girl."

Last possible second meaning, in this case, almost half a foot away from the crosswalk, WTF WTF WTF.

I hate the city sometimes.

And maybe it was partially my fault, but really-- half a fucking foot from the crosswalk? I feel I have a right to bitch a little.

*Not that I am, but I don't think the driver particularly cared in that moment.

...Yeah.

You know that post, way back when, where I said that I would update more frequently?

Yeah, me neither.

Seriously, though, I will. Update more frequently, that is. Not remember the post way back when.

...God, I'm stupid. ._____.
